Pillsbury opened a global operations center in 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee, employing more than 170 professionals. The center houses the firm’s accounting and finance, IT, human resources, risk management and document production staff, as well as significant portions of the marketing department, providing top-quality support to the firm’s 700 lawyers in offices around the world.

In 2014, Pillsbury opened a new Legal Services Department in Nashville. The department’s attorneys support the firm’s Corporate & Securities and Litigation practice sections with cost-effective legal services, and they are central to Pillsbury’s e-discovery initiatives.

In the Nashville Mayor’s Workplace Challenge of Spring 2013, Pillsbury’s Nashville office earned a trifecta of gold-medal awards in all three evaluation categories – health promotion, community volunteering and environmental stewardship. In July 2014, Nashville’s daily newspaper, The Tennessean, recognized Pillsbury as a “Top Workplace” in Middle Tennessee for the second year in a row. Pillsbury is among 50 companies named to the list, which is based on employee feedback. Only one other law firm made the list.
